2024-2025 COVID Protocols

There will be no individual or class-wide masking requirements in 2024-2025. To keep our school environment as healthy as possible, the CDC and department of health do recommend wearing masks during times when illnesses are more prevalent.

There will be no surveillance testing facilitated by Stevens during the 2024-25 school year unless deemed absolutely necessary by health officials. We encourage all symptomatic individuals to complete an at-home test as we continue to safeguard the health of all community members.
 

If any individual (student, faculty, staff, etc.) tests positive, they may not return to school until ALL of the following conditions have been met:

• They are no longer symptomatic.

• They have submitted a doctor’s note clearing them to return to school.

• They have completed their required quarantine of one day.

  • Day Zero is the day the individual tested positive.

  • If the student has no symptoms or if symptoms resolve and the student is fever-free (without the use of fever-reducing medication) for 24 hours, the student may return to school.

If a student is quarantined without symptoms for multiple days, the academic administrator and head teacher will work with the family and student on a reasonable and developmentally appropriate learning plan.

The marketing and communications team and school nurses are the only officials who should be sending COVID-related family communications. Nurses will communicate with individual families regarding a positive case, as well as internally to update faculty and staff on ongoing cases. The marketing and communications team will communicate with classes, campuses or the entire school regarding positive cases, masking, etc.
