Celebrating Dr. King Using His Own "Big Words"

Throughout January, students studied the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., culminating in a pair of assemblies during which 1st graders from both campuses gave a presentation on "Martin's Big Words," a book they read in class that celebrates King's work and illustrates his struggle for Civil Rights through his own words.
