High School Placement
Stevens provides families with a secondary school placement program that ensures the best possible outcome for their children. The high school placement director works collaboratively with the academic team to help parents navigate the often complicated high school admissions requirements and procedures. It is a highly personalized process that begins in the Spring of 7th grade, when families engage in a series of meetings with the high school placement team. In addition to identifying schools that will fuel your child's intellect and passions, Stevens assists with every aspect of the application and selection process, including test preparation, essay writing, interview skills, financial aid opportunities and keeping families apprised of all high school events and deadlines.
The faculty’s intimate and detailed knowledge of each student and connections to both day and boarding schools allow us to present prospective schools a complete and comprehensive picture of applicants. Parent and student feedback on the process and outcomes is overwhelmingly positive. Our 8th graders apply to a diverse range of high schools, and Stevens' advocacy and reputation for preparing capable, curious and motivated learners who make significant contributions in their school communities, serves each student well.
