Choosing a Stevens education is an investment in your child's future. We recognize that your decision to send your child to an independent school means a commitment to financial planning. The Tuition Assistance program is designed to help bridge the gap between what a family can afford and the cost of tuition. The goal of tuition assistance is to build a community that incorporates a diversity of cultures, viewpoints and experiences, and to allow families from all socioeconomic backgrounds to access a Stevens education. Tuition assistance benefits all students in the school.
Applying for tuition assistance has no bearing upon the admission committee's deliberations and their assessment of an applicant’s potential as a Stevens student. Decisions regarding admission and eligibility for tuition assistance are made independently of one another but are generally presented to families at the same time. This allows families to make an informed decision when executing an enrollment contract.
Tuition assistance is in the form of need-based grants, which do not need to be repaid.
Families with tuition assistance packages receive discounts for tuition costs and non-tuition related costs. depending on the level of assistance.
