Application Process and Timeline

Prospective Families and Current Stevens Families: Click here to create an account or log in to our application. To submit an additional application, click "apply another child" on the bottom right hand side.

Please Note: If you are reapplying from a previous year, please email admissions@stevenscoop.org. We will be able to ensure your account is for the correct entering year.

If your child is currently enrolled in school or daycare, we require forms to be completed by your child's current teacher and the school's director or principal by adding the appropriate emails in the admissions progress page in your parent portal.  Information for homeschooled candidates is available here. These forms are confidential.

Applicants to our Early Childhood Program (PreK 3s, PreK 4s, and Kindergarten) who have not attended a formal school or daycare do not need to have completed forms. Forms for playgroups, extracurricular classes or drop off programs are not accepted.

Parents/guardians cannot request form completion prior to October 1 of the current school year.

All candidates for Kindergarten - 7th grade need transcripts submitted by the current school. In order to request confidential transcripts please add the appropriate email for your school registrar or office manager in the admissions progress page on the parent portal.  

All candidates will participate in an in-person student interview/evaluation, which is scheduled through your Admissions Progress Page. During this evaluation, parents/guardians will receive a building tour. 

• Candidates for PreK 3 - 1st grade will visit the school in small groups with other applicants.
• Candidates for 2nd - 7th grade will spend a full day at school in a class of their current grade. 

All parent interviews will take place on Zoom and can be scheduled on the Admissions Progress Page of the Parent/Guardian Portal. You will have the opportunity to learn more about the school and ask additional questions.

Parents/Guardians of 3rd-7th grade applicants must upload additional documents to the Admissions Progress Page. They are required to upload two graded writing samples and two graded math samples. These samples should be recent and include grades and/or feedback from a teacher.
