High School Guidance

Stevens provides families with a secondary school guidance program that ensures the best possible outcome for their children. The Director of High School Guidance works collaboratively with the campus principals to help parents and guardians navigate the often complicated high school admissions requirements and procedures.

The highly personalized process begins in the winter of 7th grade, when families meet regularly with the high school guidance team. In addition to identifying schools that will fuel each child's intellect and passions, Stevens assists with every aspect of the application and selection process, including test preparation, application essays, interviewing, financial aid opportunities, and keeping families apprised of all high school events and deadlines.

Our faculty’s intimate and detailed knowledge of each student and allow us to present prospective schools a complete and comprehensive picture of applicants. Our 8th graders apply to a diverse range of high schools including selective public schools, parochial schools, and private day and boarding schools. Stevens advocates for every student, preparing capable, curious, and motivated learners who make significant contributions in their high school communities.
