Early Childhood (PreK 3-Kindergarten)
At Stevens, we understand and embrace the fact that children learn best in an environment where they can be themselves. Students in our Early Childhood Program learn through play, exploration, and joyful discovery. Our thoughtfully curated preschool classrooms provide opportunities for students to interact with blocks, artistic tools, scientific equipment, musical instruments, and many other hands-on materials to explore and create with each day. Through structured play, students learn to use their words, share, take turns and solve problems with their peers.
Our Early Childhood learners practice social skills, such as cooperation and collaborative group work, while forming friendships, gaining self-confidence, and acquiring the ability to work together within a larger community in kind and caring ways.
