Sergio came to Stevens as Head of School in 2012. He sits on the NJAIS Board of Trustees. Sergio previously worked at Kent Place School where he served as the Director of Studies, overseeing the evaluation of instruction programs, curricular development and innovation. In addition to his Ed.D in curriculum and teaching from Teachers College, Columbia University, Sergio received a Master of Science in elementary education from Hunter College. He and his wife, Jennifer, a PreKindergarten site coordinator at a school in Manhattan, have a 17-year-old daughter, Julia and a 14-year-old son, James.
