Year in Review: The 2022-2023 Cooperative
The 2022-2023 school year was a special one. As a school community, we embraced our new families, faculty and staff, enjoyed a full return to pre-pandemic events and programming, and watched our students flourish. None of these experiences would have been possible without our partnership with families and the work of our 30 Cooperative Job committees! We heard from some of our administrators and faculty about how our Cooperative Job Committees best supported them throughout the school year:
Archives Committee
This work started during the 70th anniversary year, and as we approach the 75th, we are so grateful to this committee for helping us digitize nearly 10,000 photos and documents!
- Leah and Dean, Marketing and Communications
Auxiliary Programs Committee
This was the first year Stevens hosted our Winter Arts Festival. Thank you to those parents that helped make it the first of many successes to come!
- Dan and Nikki, Auxiliary Programs
Cabaret Committee
We are so grateful to our dedicated committee members who help ensure our Middle School Cabaret Talent Show is a roaring success year after year.
- Rhiannon, Director of Curriculum and Innovation
Class Coordinators
This work started during Back-to-School night with organizing the building potluck as well as communicating information to the class when appropriate and supporting the teachers with class events when applicable. We are so grateful to this group!
Sergio, Head of School and Anney, Executive Assistant
This was the first year we returned to an in person Back-to-School Night and family potluck since 2019. A big thank you to the Early Childhood families who helped coordinate this wonderful way to connect families and begin the new school year at RIver Street.
Kim, Early Childhood Director
Faculty vs. Students Basketball Game Committee
Thank you to everyone for helping with set up, break down and even reffing the game.
Fun And Fitness Day Committee
Families were incredibly helpful in carrying out these two huge events for our Kindergarten through 8th graders.
- Dan, Auxiliary Programs and Shanecka, Athletics and Physical Education
Membership Committee
We increased our applications and new enrollment this year by over ten percent. We created more opportunities for prospective families to meet 1:1 with current families. Feedback and our data show that this worked! We are so grateful for your passion for Stevens and the time you spent supporting our school.
