Looking Back on a Historic Year
Dear Friends,
As I reflect on 2023-2024, I am filled with immense gratitude and pride for our community. Our 75th anniversary celebration was nothing short of phenomenal, and I am delighted to share some of the highlights with you.
Our Annual Gala was an extraordinary success, and set a record as the most successful gala in Stevens history. With 400 guests on hand to celebrate our milestone anniversary, including Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop, Hoboken Councilman Phil Cohen, and our own Barbara Greaves, the inaugural recipient of the Mary S. Baker Award, presented by the Baker family themselves. Throughout the night, your support and generosity helped us raise over $375,000! These contributions make a significant impact on our school, and we are deeply thankful for your unwavering support.
In addition to the Gala, we successfully unveiled the Forever Stevens Endowment for Financial Aid, and raised nearly a quarter of our initial fundraising goal of $1 million. We continued strengthening our other funds, and also had the opportunity to meet many new families through the various new events we introduced, such as the Head of School Reception and our Corporate Luncheons. Sergio and I enjoyed connecting with so many of you, and we are excited to continue building these relationships.
Looking ahead, the Development Office is committed to further strengthening the bonds within our community. Our goal for this year is to enhance and grow our events to ensure that we reach every member of our school community. We aim to create opportunities for all parents to connect with the Development Office and with each other, fostering a sense of unity and shared dedication.
We have an exciting year ahead, and I am confident that, with your continued support and involvement, we will achieve great things together. Thank you once again for your dedication and generosity.
Sincerely,
Farad Lowther
Director of Development
