Looking to the Future
Dear Stevens Community,
I hope you've all enjoyed a wonderful summer. The upcoming school year is a milestone for Stevens Cooperative School as we mark our 75th anniversary. This is a moment worthy of both celebration and reflection as we commemorate our growth as an institution and set our sights on our goals for the future.
Heading into this important year, we must recognize the accomplishments that led us here and focus on our next steps to improve in the future. In terms of Development, this means acknowledging the record-breaking success of this year's Annual Fund and cementing this moment in history with the establishment of our first endowment initiative, which will grow to provide key funding for our financial aid program.
Every year, the Annual Fund is the primary fundraising resource that allows us to ensure our core values are reflected in everything we do. During the 2022-2023 school year, the Annual Fund supported the River Street expansion, the implementation of the 7-day schedule, the 3rd and 4th grade production of "Annie," 8th grade service-learning trips with NOBIS Project, and DEIJB professional development for our faculty and staff. It also helped us maintain state-of-the-art health and safety standards for our students.
When I consider this list of accomplishments, I'm wildly optimistic about the new heights we're capable of reaching as we commemorate our 75th year. Your support means everything to us, and we thank you.
I look forward to seeing you at school and all of the special events celebrating this momentous year in our history.
Regards,
Kat Blostein P'24
