Our high school placement program begins in the spring of 7th grade. The Head of School, Director of Admissions and Director of Development serve as the High School Guidance Team. They meet with all the 7th grade parents to discuss the high school admissions process. With guidance from the school, the families begin to research all the options available, which include public, parochial and independent schools in both New York and New Jersey.

In June each family meets with the guidance team and together they come up with a list of various schools. These choices are based on the student’s interests and qualifications, location, and affordability. The real work begins in the fall of 8th grade when both parents and students visit many schools. The team meets with the student and parents together as the final list of high schools is chosen. The school also assists with test preparation, essay writing, interview skills and keeping families aware of deadlines. Notifications from high schools are mailed in January, February and March.

Stevens graduates are accepted at a wide range of independent, parochial and public high schools. The following is a list of High Schools that have accepted students from our 8th grade graduating classes from 2006, 2007 & 2008. Also listed are some of the colleges currently attended by our middle school graduates.
