Supporting Stevens Cooperative School
Ways to contribute…money, time and talent!

As with most independent schools, at Stevens, tuition payments alone can't reasonably cover all of our operating and capital expenses. So, a strategic membership and development effort that includes fund-raising, friend-raising and networking is a vital part of our Cooperative's infrastructure. Our annual school calendar features a varied menu of activities, all aimed at securing additional revenue and resources for both short- and long-term needs. Events, including our annual Auction, Golf Outing and Harvest Festival, have their own listing in the Main and Alumni menus on the Home Page.

In addition, Stevens solicits individual donations and corporate matching gifts through its Annual Fund that spans most of the school year. A growing Grants Program, that includes gifts from the William E. Simon Foundation, the Turrell Fund and the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, helps to fund financial assistance and staff development programs. An In-Kind Gifts Program, fueled largely by a Faculty Wish List published each fall, attracts special equipment and services, such as a kiln or special printing press for the Art Room, new software and resource books for the classrooms and monthly bagel breakfasts or massages for the teachers.

Please make it a point to visit this page monthly for updates about fund-raising events and campaigns underway and the many opportunities for YOU to participate.

Throughout the year, all parents and alumni are encouraged to act as development ambassadors for the School. Please encourage friends, family and colleagues to attend any and all of the events listed on this website, to write a check (even a small one) to the Annual Fund, and to provide networking opportunities that might lead to outside funding and other valuable resources needed to keep our School healthy. And be sure to check with your employer to see if they participate in a matching gifts program. If they do, donations to Stevens can easily double or triple in value!
