Summer Connections (3rd grade - 8th grade)

Summer Connections give children an opportunity to study a single topic of interest for an entire week. These weeks take place at our Newport Campus. All classes are taught by teachers who are professionals in their fields.

A sample of 2012 classes:

  • Archeology
  • Chemistry
  • Culinary Creations
  • Outdoor Adventure
  • Film
  • Game Design
  • Website Design

Children do not have to attend Stevens to participate in this program.

Think Tank (4th grade - 8th grade)

A brand-new academic camp including academic enrichment courses designed to challenge your student and set the stage for greater intellectual growth and learning.


Scholarships will be available to qualified students. 

 


 

 


Stevens Day Camp (Kindergarten - 4th grade)

Children will enjoy all the features of a suburban day camp while being minutes from home at our state of the art facility in Newport. Our building is located walking distance from Hoboken and minutes from the Newport-Pavonia PATH and light rail stations. Camp groups are led by experienced teachers. Campers benefit from the resources of a well-established independent elementary school where activities are rooted in the tenets of progressive education.

Creative Geniuses (PreK)

Creative Geniuses is a nurturing program designed to expose your little ones to the arts and unleash the creativity inherent in all young children

 


Little Stevens Day Camp (3 & 4 year olds)

Children have a ball at our beautiful, air-conditioned facility at 339 River Street in Hoboken as they enjoy a variety of activities both indoors and out. Camp groups are led by experienced early childhood teachers. Campers benefit from the resources of a well-established independent elementary school where activities are rooted in the tenets of progressive education.

 

Past activities have included:

  • Private outdoor playground
  • Art
  • Music, Movement, and Yoga
  •  Cooking
  • Local walking trips
  • Theme Weeks
  • Swimming at Stevens Institute (4 year olds only)

3s must turn three by 3/1/12 and 4s must turn four by 9/1/12.  Children do not have to attend Stevens to participate in this program.
