2010 $20,000 Cash Prize Raffle Rules

  1. Each ticket will cost $25.00. Mail ticket orders must be received no later than Friday, March 5, 2010. Website and fax orders must be received no later than noon on Friday, March 12, 2010.
  2. 1600 tickets will be available. Cash prize is $20,000 or, if all tickets are not sold, 50% of the total amount collected.
  3. Individual purchasers of raffle tickets must be 18 years of age or older.
  4. Stevens Cooperative School shall appoint a single individual who will be responsible for maintaining control and security of all of the Raffle ticket stubs. Such individual shall, by public certification under oath at the time of the drawing, certify that all Raffle tickets purchased have their stub in the container of stubs where the winning Raffle ticket will be drawn.
  5. The public drawing will be held on March 13, 2010 between 7 pm and midnight at the Stevens Cooperative School 2010 Spring Auction held at the Westin Newport Jersey City, Jersey City, NJ.
  6. You need not be present to win.
  7. Winners will be notified by phone and/or by certified mail return receipt requested by March 20, 2010.
  8. The Raffle Winner must claim prize and finalize paperwork within two (2) weeks of the Raffle drawing date.
  9. The Raffle winner is responsible for any applicable taxes.
  10. This is not a tax deductible contribution.
  11. The Raffle is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and is void wherever prohibited or restricted by law.
  12. All proceeds of the Raffle are for the benefit of the Stevens Cooperative School a 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations registered with the Secretary of State of New Jersey.
