As an additional service to parents, children may arrive at school as early as 7:45 a.m. and go to the Afterschool Room for before-school supervision at no extra charge. At the end of the school day, they may stay in a reasonably priced Afterschool program until 6:00 p.m., participating in arts-and-crafts activities, games, dramatic play and homework support. Middle School students have the option of attending Study Group, where support with classwork and homework is available from their peers and the Middle School teachers. Specials classes such as art, drama, chorus, chess and sports are also offered in 12-week sessions. Similar care programs (camps) are offered during incidental school holidays, over the Spring Break, and in the summer.
