Financial Aid

Financial aid is available for families of students in PreK-8th grade. Financial aid applications are due in December for the following school year. As always, we encourage all families who believe that they may need financial assistance to apply through this program. Stevens seeks to enroll and retain strong, inquisitive learners, and families who embrace the school’s mission and cooperative environment, regardless of their ability to pay full tuition. Our program is need-based and is not related to the academic abilities of students.

The purpose of the Financial Aid Program is to provide financial assistance to families for whom the tuition represents a significant financial burden. It helps to bridge the gap between what they can afford to pay and tuition. Applying for financial aid has no bearing on admission at Stevens, and financial aid awards help families not just meet tuition but are also used to defray the cost of other aspects of the students’ educational experience (e.g. trips). The school understands that circumstances change, and we want to make sure that families know that they can request financial aid at any time during their child’s tenure here at Stevens.
