Afterschool Program

The Stevens Cooperative School Afterschool Program provides quality after school care to students in the full day programs (PreK - 8th grade) from 3-6 pm.

Afterschool Enrichment Classes

Families can choose to sign their child up for a variety of specialized afterschool courses. The cost of these courses is usually around $18 per class. Special classes meet once a week for twelve weeks. Some of the classes offered may be ceramics, Mandarin, fencing, drama, chess, computer, swimming, volleyball, etc.

Early Morning Drop-off

Our early morning program begins at 7:45 am for students at Garden Street and Newport and 8:00 for students at River Street.  There is no charge for this program.

Financial Aid

Financial aid is available for families of full day students and we are now ready to process applications for the 2012/2013 school year. As always, we encourage all families who believe that they may need financial assistance to apply through this program. Stevens seeks to enroll and retain strong, inquisitive learners, and families who embrace the school’s mission and cooperative environment, regardless of their ability to pay full tuition. Our program is need-based and is not related to the academic abilities of students.

The purpose of the Financial Aid Program is to provide financial assistance to families for whom the tuition represents a significant financial burden. It helps to bridge the gap between what they can afford to pay and tuition. Applying for financial aid has no bearing on admission at Stevens, and financial aid awards help families not just meet tuition but are also used to defray the cost of other aspects of the students’ educational experience (e.g. trips). The school understands that circumstances change, and we want to make sure that families know that they can request financial aid at any time during their child’s tenure here at Stevens.
