Visiting the School – Tours, Open Houses, and other Admissions Events
At Stevens we seek to create groups of children representative of the general population exhibiting diversity in learning styles, developmental needs, personalities, and religious and cultural backgrounds. A family’s belief in the School’s progressive educational philosophy is also considered.
We encourage parents to take advantage of all the fall admissions events. It is important to attend our Open House at which time prospective families can see classrooms, meet students and alumni and talk with teachers. Open Houses are primarily for parents of prospective students but students applying to 3rd grade or above are also welcome. Another wonderful way to learn more about our school is by scheduling a tour. Come and visit during the school day while children and teachers are actively engaged in learning.
