In December 2009 Stevens’ Newport classrooms moved from their location at 80 Town Square to a beautiful newly designed space at the AquaBlu building just down the street. This space, built expressly for Stevens, over 20,000 square feet of brand new classrooms, including specially equipped rooms for science, media studies, art and music. The large multi purpose room, ideal for indoor physical activity, will incorporate a stage for theatre productions. This new space has exquisite views of the New York City skyline, and students will have a large outdoor play area facing the Hudson River. The Newport campus will serve K-8th grade by the 2012-2013 school year. In addition to the Newport Principal, the Director of Development, Admissions Director, Facilities Manager and Auxiliary Programs Coordinator, have offices in this building.
